Useful Tips to Creating a Magical Valedictorian Speech

Are you the valedictorian of your class? That is incredible. Congratulate yourself on doing a good job.  However this is not the time to sit down and relax, you have to write the valedictorian speech and it must be a reflection of your high school or a college career. As the valedictorian of your class you don’t have to stress yourself out you conquered four years and emerged the best. Clearly, you know something about writing delivering a great speech. In case you can’t recall here are some few tips that can help you learn how to write a valedictorian speech.

The first thing that you need to do is talk about what you have learned in your valedictorian speech. Take some time to talk about the few things that you have learned from your friends, team mates and classmates. It is always possible that not all lessons were learnt from the classroom despite emerging the top in it. Make sure you have stated the most crucial lesson you learnt throughout your time in school.

Secondly, ensure that you incorporate a few jokes in your speech. Don’t get up there in front of everybody and talk about great memories and success in a dry form. Add some little humor in your speech and make your colleagues laugh from a funny story that happened during your time in school. Thirdly, you need to inspire your fellow students. From the start it is not all about enjoying and celebrating the fact that you have graduated. You have to look forward to the coming days where life will take you after graduation. You must inspire your fellow colleagues and make them feel like they can accomplish anything now that they have graduated. 

On to the fourth tip you need to use quotes in your speech. You can always pick a quote ahead of time and use it in your speech. It is not a must that the quote is from a famous and well known person. But the quote should make your fellow students feel inspired. Finally you need to make sure that you keep your speech short and sweet. You don’t want people to start looking at their watches signaling you to hurry up. Your speech should be less than 10 minutes unless you are given other guidelines.
